PostSubject: Most accurate what... what.   Sun Apr 03, 2011 2:39 pm

Hi guys, what brand-type/where to get the best/most accurate:

E-11

DLT-19

MG-15

T-21

I guess sci-fire still makes the best MG-15, and T-21, but i´m not sure when it comes to the DLT-19, and i guess not when it comes to the E-11.

I might wanna upgrade, but would like to hear what you pro´s think/say.

What kind of E-11 blaster are there:
Sci-fire/us.
Doopydoo/uk.
AA/uk.
RS/spain.
Blastermaster.
Real and air soft sterling modify into e-11.
And this one by Jörg....
who is the winner

Cheers

Heres a few from blastermaster, but Jörg e-11 might be the winner.
What do you say/think...

And here he´s dlt-19:

the blasters done by Jörg('s father in fact) are pretty nice as they have a lot of "function" to them. However they are off in a few small details, so they are not a 'perfect' replica.

Here's a list of the shortcomings, the ones I can think of right now:

- the main barrel is 2mm too thin in diameter, which means the other parts are off in dimensions as well
- the mag and receiver are rectangular, not trapezoidal
- the endcap is not 100% accurate

That's pretty much the "worst" inaccuracies of this blaster.

The best always will be a real Sterling I guess, but that's not exactly the best for trooping. This new blaster by Jörg certainly has the best of both worlds - troopability combined with cool "functionality"

Thanks for your reply Dan, i might try to get one.
Do you how if they still make them, and to what price etc.

Jörg might be the best out off, all up what we are looking for:
Sci-fire/us.
Doopydoo/uk.
AA/uk.
RS/spain.
Blastermaster/us.
Real and air soft sterling modify into e-11.

I forgot, there are all so master replica, but its heavy, and a bit off as well.

Cheers

I think the hyperfirm is nice for trooping but lacks detail due to construction.

The droopydraws pipe build looks ace but may break if dropped. The DLT-19 is nice I have one.

Don't quote me on this but I believe he buys all the parts in from whoever and he only puts them together.

But like I said I could be wrong.

Laughing

Now that would be fun!

Yeah, when AA was thinking about making blasters I said I would lend him the parts. He already had a Sterling. The only problem is his receiver is slightly to large by a couple of mm in diameter.
Other than that it ain't too bad. Light and fair tuff.

As one who troops with a AA blaster I can tell you that it's pretty sturdy.... IF you glue down some of the parts a little extra. The quality of the build, out of the box, leaves a little to be desired. But I'm pleased that there aren't any fragile resin parts on it.

My scope rail came undone after my first troop, but has stayed with me since after I put it back with a little E-6000.

The funny thing is I don't even have one!

So I cant really comment on it too much. I saw the pieces that were injection moulded.
Too be honest apart from the fact that AA is delusional about the creation of the troopers he has always been helpful and generous with his knowledge of vacforming and moulding.
I never talk about the things that are said in court anymore, there is no point.
Everyone thinks I'm in with Andrew but I really only see him a few times a year if that. Now I'm competition as I produce armour too.

I have a doopydoos DLT-19 but don't think I've ever seen a hyperfirm version to compare. I hear the detail is soft on the cushmans..

What i really don´t like on my sci-fire e-11 is:
1. The front sight, looking at the left and right side are not, there should be air there, like a bow.
2. The rail holding the big sight, are way too thick looking.
3. There are no holes in the barrel.
4. The loading grip are just there are a detail, no function, and not cut out/no hole/spring in there.
5. The shoulder fold out grip, are no function, and looking at the bottom of the e-11 here.
The details are all wrong, just a flat space, where you should have seen the shoulder holder assembled under the gun.

# 5 problem, no details under the gun/just after the tricker area:

For me its a no brainer,

Pipe build with Doopy doos parts.

Doopydoos full resin kit.

Hyperfirm

The pipe build is cheap and a lot of fun to do yourself.Doopys parts are super crisp and the final blaster is light.

Again the Doopy full resin kit is very good value for money plus great casts of a real sterling.

Hyper, just because i have always wanted one.

For me it's a no brainer... A real Sterling conversion...Laughing

Although you can't troop with it....

Failing that It's a metal pipe build with real metal sterling parts....

Copy that. for now the best choice should be.
Either a Pipe build with Doopy doos parts, or the real deal/sterling modify into a e-11.

Right now i have all the scifire fire arms to the troops, maybe i will get some more over time:

Thanks bro´s cheers

I got the dlt-19 and e-11 around 6 years ago, the t-21 4 years ago, the mg-15 2 years ago.
It have not been easy either to get them home to denmark, from the us.
But now i got them all, and love them.
Even i dream of more function versions, whit holes in the pipes etc sometimes.

Cheers

Tanks Dave, love your avatar, strong and beautiful

What do people think, would it work...
trying to drill out the front sight left and right on the e-11 here, there should be air in there/like a open bow.
Or would it damage more, then doing good... hhhmm
