It's not that unstable.
I screwed/glued the rail in the back, and put some glue on the front too, where it is only slid in place. Also, the Hengstler is glued to the scope and that too holds things in place quite well.

Looks so much better with that mod. Smile

I scratchbuilt a more rounded magazine for my all metal E-11, out of sheet ABS.
It is not 100% accurate but looks more like the real deal than the straight short one that comes with the Wegmann gun. Now I have 2 magazines! Smile

It's the one on the right, the lines on top are the roughest part, f'd that up a little...

Also, the black is a little off, it doesn't blend in with the rest of the gun in photos (better in real life):

Looks great Dennis.
Strage they made that big mistake, to make the mag straight.

Do you know, if they will make there mag more curve on there next run.
And also, have made the gun barrel pipe bigger/wider, so its accurate this time as well

Thanks, Rolf!

No, they said that making curved magazines from metal would be really really hard, and I beleive them. I too started with aluminium but stopped that very soon...
And they also have not yet found the correct size pipe - theirs is only 1-2mm too small though, nothing major.

Copy that, i see, too bad the mag its not curve a like.
But 1-2mm in the pipe size sounds pretty close.
Its still one of the best replica E-11 blasters i guess

I wonder if a real sterling magazine would fit, with some modifications perhaps?

I thought about that too, Mathias... feel free to try that out and then share your experiences! Razz

If I could get my hands on a a magazine I'd love to try. I have no idea on the legality (without a gun license) of those here in Sweden though.

After doing a little bit of research, first signs indicate that magazines are legal to purchase without a license in Sweden. Only the bullets and the weapon itself requires a license. So first signs are good! Would love to get me a cut down sterling magazine for my BA E-11 once I get it.
